Plan Your Visit
Come join us at Bay Shore Lutheran — all are welcome! Thinking about this Sunday? Please do! Every Sunday is a good Sunday to visit.
Our Sunday morning worship services are approximately a one-hour of prayer, song, scripture and sermon followed by fellowship with coffee and desserts in our downstairs Fellowship Hall.
Adult Faith Formation opportunities may be held throughout the week as scheduled. Faith Formation for Children, formerly called Sunday School, is offered during our 9:30 a.m. worship for children ages 3 through 5th grade. Please check our calendar for offerings.
Please note: Our Worship services are livestreamed on our YouTube channel and include camera angles of our pews and all activity at the front of the church. If you do not wish to be on camera, we understand and suggest positioning yourself to the last few rows in the back of the sanctuary. Pastor can serve you communion following the postlude, when our camera is turned off.
When is worship?
- Worship is on Sundays at 9:30 a.m.
- We also have special offerings like outside hymn sings during the summer.
We offer the sacrament of Holy Communion every Sunday. All persons who desire to receive communion are invited to God’s table. There is no age limitation. All are welcome. For those who prefer, the pastor will also offer blessings.
Our members come to church in a variety of dress styles from T-shirts and jeans to dresses and suits. We want you to be comfortable.
Bay Shore Lutheran has a parking lot behind the church as well as available street parking.
We no longer offer a staffed nursery. Our nursery room is available as a quiet place for families to use, and we also have opened an area at the back of our sanctuary to accommodate strollers, baby seats and children who desire some floor play on our padded mats. We also have a large space in the back of our sanctuary to accommodate wheelchairs, strollers, car seats and more.
